Room Rental Only FAQ

Can I bring my own drinks?
A: No, all drinks have to be purchased through the Golden Palace.

Is there a bar minimum?
A: No, there is no bar minimum.

Will there be other events in the hall while my event is going on?
A: No, the hall only books one event per day so you will have the hall to yourself.

Is service staff included?
A: No, service staff is not included.

Do I need to provide my own security?
A: No, security is already included in your room rental.

Do I have access to the kitchen area?
A: No. There is absolutely no access to the kitchen.

Are tables and chairs included?
A: Yes, tables and chairs are included.

Are linens included?
A: Yes, tablecloths white, Ivory & Black are provided.

How much does it cost to reserve my date?
A: To reserve your date there is a $500 deposit.

Will I be required to make monthly payments?
A: No, however you are required to pay half of your room rental at least six months prior to your event.  So, monthly payments are encouraged.

When does my event have to be paid in full?
A: Your event has to be paid in full at least 15 days before your event.

Do I have to use the Golden Palace for decorating purposes?
A: No, you may bring in your own decorator or use the Golden Palace decorators.

How much time will I have the day of my event to setup?
A:  We will allow you to select a 3 hour block of time to decorate your room the day of your event.  This time must be determined by your final appointment (15 days prior to your event).

What payment methods do you take?
A: Cash or check.

Is my security deposit refundable?
A: Yes, the security deposit is fully refundable minus any damages that occur to the Golden Palace property the day of your event.

Is the date deposit refundable?
A: No, the date deposit is non-refundable.

What is the latest that we can be in the banquet hall the day of the party?
A: Midnight is the latest. No exceptions.

What are your hours and do I have to make an appointment?
A: Our hours are 10am-2pm Monday and 10am-4pm Tuesday thru Friday and although we do take walk-ins appointments are encouraged. Weekends by appointment only.

Do you permit live bands?
A: Absolutely.

Do you charge for parking?
A: No.

Do you have internet access?  Is there a charge?
A:  Yes, we do provide internet access at no additional charge. 

Is it possible to come in the day before to setup?
A:  We try to accommodate every client the best we can.  If it works for scheduling we can.  Be advised that if a client books the date we obviously cannot allow setup on that date anymore. 

Are banquet (8’) tables included?
A:  We do provide two (8’) tables at no charge but no linen.  Additional tables can be added for an additional charge.
